Authentication
Reported by Kris Jordan | November 10th, 2008 @ 12:02 AM | in 0.30
Basic (non-https) authentication needs to be possible but will likely need some serious love and attention in future releases. Current thinking is to have an !AuthenticateUsing CallBack attribute or something that leaves it mostly to the developer. v.Next will need to handle this properly.

This functionality is being moved to the responsibility of a plugin. Let's see if by the time the 0.30 release comes around we have a secure & 'official'-ly recommended auth plugin.
